Project Name: Healthy Inspirations Retractable Banner Designed With: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop Printing Process: CMYK, Retractable Banner, Press My Role: Design retractable banner using Illustrator. Used Photoshop to crop the background on the two pictures on the left. I used the Illustrator blend tool to create a gradient on the swoosh that was used as the background as well as to make it repeat from top to bottom. Used the Illustrator pen tool and created a clipping mask to crop the picture on the left. The printing of this banner was outsourced. Total Design Time: 30-60 minutes |

This customer provided us with vector artwork for their logo in PMS blue. I used the CMYK swatch book to find a similar blue and recolored the logo using Illustrator. I had created the vector maps of the two locations for a postcard that was printed previously. There are those Facebook and Twitter logos again. The printing of this banner was outsourced. This customer provided us with vector artwork for their logo, so it was suitable for banner-sized printing. The customer had provided us the top two logos. We had a pdf file of their newsletter that contained the colorful vector graphic on the bottom, which I pulled out almost piece-by-piece. The printing of this banner was outsourced. Project Name: Asian Pest Service Retractable Banner Designed With: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop Printing Process: CMYK, Magic Brand Vinyl Material, Retractable Banner, Digital (HP5500PS) My Role: Design retractable banner using Illustrator using design from customer's brochure that was previously printed. Used Photoshop to make the background of the insects and logo transparent. As I was in charge of the wide format HP5500PS, I loaded the vinyl material, printed the banner, cut the banner to size and installed in the retractable banner hardware.
