Project Name: CustomFlyGrips.com Designed With: Prestashop, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator My Role: This is my site for my business, Custom Fly Grips LLC. I put this online shop together using Prestashop and have been adding new features, products, and content to the store as needed. I have used the Bing Translator API to translate the site into more than 15 languages and my international customers see their own currencies on the site. I created all of the images and content on the site, including my free grip templates that I offer to my customers. The images were formatted with Photoshop and the free grip templates were created with Illustrator. I created my logo for the business in Illustrator. Total Design Time: Many, many, many hours; ongoing as I add new products to my business. |

Project Name: CustomFlyGrips.info Designed With: Adobe Dreamweaver, Illustrator and Photoshop My Role: This was the original site design that I put together for CustomFlyGrips.com. As my business has grown over the years and evolved from just offering custom made fishing grips to also offering cork, components, tools, and other rod building supplies and components, I have found the need to create additional sites to help promote new products and reinforce existing products. This is the site that is dedicated to the custom grip making portion of my business. The header and footer were created in Illustrator (I got used to using that program while I was in the printing industry) so that I could create exact clipping masks of the cork slices that I had put together for the image. I created my logo for the business in Illustrator. The entire site was put together in Dreamweaver and the pictures were edited to size in Photoshop as well as changing the Illustrator-created header and footer and logo into website compatible JPG files. Total Design Time: It has been a while since I put this site together, but I believe the design time was around 5-6 hours, spread out over a few days. |

Project Name: PremiumBurl.com Designed With: Prestashop, Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop My Role: This is the first supplemental site that I put together for my business. It is an informational site for my exclusive Premium Burl cork that I developed. The site was put together in Dreamweaver and the images were edited in Photoshop. This site features a link back to a private page on customflygrips.com where distributors can login to purchase the cork to sell for their business. Since I created this site, one of my suppliers came out with a copy of my Premium Burl cork, but this site still helps me reinforce the quality and brand of my cork as well as serving as an additional link to CustomFlyGrips.com. I created my logo for the business in Illustrator. Total Design Time: 5-6 hours (I had to take many new pictures for this site to show the weight comparisons for this material that is new to many rod builders), spread out over a few days. |
