The banner is printed in CMYK, but the dates and times are removable vinyl lettering so it can be used for future years. There were three files that needed to be put together for this banner, the CMYK banner, the black text, and the purple text. The printing of this banner was outsourced.

Project Name: Landscape Design Center Yard Signs
Designed With: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
Printing Process: CMYK, Coroplast, Press
My Role: Design yard signs for customer. The customer only had the artwork that was on their website, which was not suitable for wide-format printing. I used the Illustrator pen and text tools to recreate the logo at the top. I used the CMYK swatch book to pick the correct colors to ensure the logo I created will print the colors that were on screen on the customer's website. I picked some pictures from the website and used Photoshop to crop the photos to the size I needed.

Project Name: Allegra Virginia Beach Poster
Designed With: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop
Printing Process: CMYK, Semi-Gloss Paper, Digital (HP5500PS)
My Role: This poster had been designed by the customer. They said they wanted it on "old-looking paper." There was no option for old looking paper, so I used Photoshop to create the design in the background. When the customer saw the printed version, they decided to go with that paper stock without the background design. Illustrator was used to imposition these posters and add crop marks. As I was in charge of the wide format HP5500PS, I loaded the paper, printed the posters, and cut the posters to size.

Project Name: Focus Financial Table Throw
Designed With: Adobe Illustrator
Printing Process: CMYK, Cotton Material, Digital (HP5500PS)
My Role: Design retractable banner using Illustrator. The customer provided vector artwork for the table throw. This was a rush job and we did not have the time to outsource this throw to a table throw printer we often used. I came up with the idea of using our cotton material for this throw, which we only had in 36" wide rolls. Since this throw needed a top, sides, and front, I came up with the idea to print on the front and connect it to the blank top/sides piece. As I was in charge of the wide format output, I loaded the cotton material, printed the front of the throw, measured the top/side piece to the correct length, hemmed the ends that would touch the floor, and connected the front to the top/side piece.
